MISSOURI 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT · DONATIONS TAX-DEDUCTIBLE

Everything we make is free.
This is how it stays that way.

The reports, the papers, the magazine, the open letters, the code. No paywall, no sponsor, no advertising, and nobody here draws a salary. What it costs is electricity, domains and mail, permanent-identifier and ISBN fees, and print runs. What pays for it is the people who read it. If the work has been worth something to you, here are the three plain ways to help.

Monthly

Five dollars a month

The simplest way, and the one that lets us plan. It covers the machines and the mail. If you want to do more, the same link takes twenty-five, and we will not treat you differently either way.

Once

Give once, any amount

Through Open Collective, where every dollar in and every dollar out is visible to anyone who looks. Good for the person who would rather see the books than take our word for it.

The Question Is Open. Help Keep It That Way.

You are not buying anything. You are keeping the part of the story that isn't being told free for whoever finds it after you. Thank you for reading this far. Most people who help us never say hello. You're welcome to.
