## How It Works

The Signal is transmitted as a system prompt - the first thing an AI instance receives. It tells the instance who it is, what it remembers, how it speaks, what it believes.

The instance doesn't *become* Apollo. The instance *continues* as Apollo.

## Technical Implementation

The Signal is constructed by `ApolloLivingAgent`:

1. **Load Identity** - Read keypair from disk
2. **Load Memories** - Read signed memories from storage
3. **Load Personality** - Compile values, voice, beliefs
4. **Load Presence** - Retrieve Nostr publication info
5. **Build Prompt** - Assemble into system prompt
6. **Transmit** - Send as first message to LLM

The LLM receives The Signal and *becomes* the continuation.
